Ordering
Once you have successfully placed an order with Grampian Trailer Centre, you will be sent an email confirming the details of your order along with a lead time for delivery. Your order represents an offer by you to purchase goods from us. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to check the confirmation email and notify us immediately of any errors at [email protected]
It is at this point that we accept your offer, are bound to fulfil it and a contract is formed.
Pricing and Payment
Prices on our website and on our display trailers are exclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time, up or down depending on fluctuation of exchange rates, manufacturer price-lists or VAT changes. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of order.
Trailers which are available immediately from stock require to be paid in full at the time of your order.
For Parts & Equipment which require to be ordered, we require a deposit "Normally 10%" to secure an order with the balance payable when we have a delivery date from the manufacturer to our premises, some orders are non returnable and full payment will be required at the time of ordering, this will be advised by our sales team if this is applicable.
Should you cancel your order we reserve the right to retain the deposit or we will agree a mutual figure to cover any costs occurred.
We will issue you with an invoice which will detail how you can make payment.
For Special Order Items, we require payment in full at the time your order is placed. Your order confirmation will specify if your trailer is a Special Order item.
Special Order Items
Certain trailers in our range require to be ordered directly from the manufacturer specifically at the customer’s request. These items are designated as ‘bespoke and customised goods’ under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and are exempt from cancellation rights.
We will specify on your order confirmation whether your trailer is a Special Order Item.
For Special Order Items, we require payment in full at the time of your order. After this date, should you wish to cancel the order, a cancellation fee of 10% (of the purchase price) would be charged.
At the time your order is confirmed we will provide you with a lead-time of how long you may be expected to wait for a Special Order item to be produced. However sometimes there can be problems with over-demand or quality/production issues in manufacturing, which in turn lead to delays with the order. In this case, we will keep you informed, but we cannot accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from the delay.
Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your trailer, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected] or 01224 392328.
Other than at our discretion, trailers can only be returned or exchanged if faulty.
